JEE Main Online and Offline apply has started from 1st December 2017. The JEE main 2018 exam notification was issed in November month and also the Board of JEE has declared all Important dates with Fees details. Today here we are Discussing about the 2018 JEE Mains Eligibility Criteria Syllabus, Pattern. So please go through this article and to know the details about the 2018 JEE Mains Eligibility Criteria. For applying for the JEE mains (Joint Entrance Exam), the candidates are to be eligible for the examination. All such details are available on the portal of the CBSC (Central Board for Secondary Education). This is a national level exam conducted all over the India. This exam also requires many qualifications for the candidates for the examination. To enter into engineering colleges such as IIIT, IIT and NIT’s, the students must qualify in this examination.

JEE mains 2018 Eligibility Criteria & pattern

The JEE Mains exam requires the educational and age qualifications to attend for the examination. The exam is conducted in both the online and the offline mode. Online refers to the computer based examination and offline refers to the paper and pen based examination. The candidate’s nationality must be India. But also NRI’s, PIO’s, OCI’s and foreign nationality candidates are also eligible for the examination. Every candidate is given three attempts to qualify the examination. The attempts for the exam are counted from the year 2017. The basic requirement for the examination is the Aadhaar card number.

Application form for the JEE Mains exam

All the candidates must provide the Aadhaar card details in the application form for the JEE Mains exam. The details entered must match with the details in the Aadhaar. If there are any mistakes, the candidates must make corrections in the Aadhaar card such as name, date of birth, etc. details from the nearest correction centers. The school and Aadhar card details must be same. The candidates from the states of Jammu and Kashmir, Assam and Meghalaya are excluded to provide their Aadhaar card number. Instead, they must provide any government verified cards such as voter ID, Passport, ration card, bank account number on the application.

Jee mains Age Criteria & Important Eligibility 2018

The age criteria is an important eligibility for the examination. The candidates born on or after 1st October 1993 are eligible to apply for this examination for the OBC and general candidates. For the SC, ST and PWD candidates, the candidates must be born on or after 1st October 1988. The candidates ensure that the age declaration announced by the CBSC board. Educational qualification for this exam is 10+2 grade or any such equality education of the state with 5 subjects. The JEE Mains examination is conducted based on three subjects Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. The candidate must be passed his 10+2 or its equivalent in the year 2016 or 2017. Candidates belonging to the Diploma are also eligible to write this examination, but their score and rank are not considered at the time of admissions. The board marks of the examination are not considered for calculating the rank from this year.

2018 JEE Mains Eligibility Criteria

The exam is conducted for the B.Tech/ B.E and B.Arch/ B.Planning. B.Tech/ B.E admissions are taken for the candidates with mathematics as compulsory subject along with chemistry and physics. Whereas, B.Arch/ B.Planning requires students passed in 10+2 with mathematics subject. The candidates qualified in this JEE Mains examination are qualified candidates to attend for the JEE Advanced examination.
